The Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists will begin receiving nominations on July 1, 2026 for the 2027 Arthur Purdy Stout Prize to be awarded at the 2027 Spring USCAP Meeting. The deadline is December 31, 2026. The prize, in the amount of $2,500, is awarded annually to a surgical pathologist under the age of 45 at the time of application deadline. The prize is intended to recognize significant career achievements in Surgical Pathology by young surgical pathologists whose research publications, whether clinical or basic, have had a major impact on diagnostic pathology.
